Kati has had a career in architecture and education spanning two decades. Starting as an Architectural technician and later graduating in Architecture, she has worked within award-winning practices and seen projects through from concept to completion, working with major construction companies such as Laing O'Rouke and SRMcAlpine.Kati's portfolio includes several educational buildings, as well as interior fit-out projects, office buildings and industrial buildings in the UK and abroad. She recently led on the design of the Welcome area for Norwood Secondary School, part of the BSF programme for the London Borough Lambeth.
Having always had a passion for working with young people she also became a fully qualified teacher, teaching ICT, Design, Construction and Built environment within Secondary Schools, bringing her creativity and passion into the classroom.
With her extensive knowledge of Architecture and gaining hand-on teaching experience Kati is able to advise on all aspects of the design process, time and again proving an ability to get everything just right to enable schools to deliver excellence. She is passionate about how good architecture can facilitate innovative teaching and learning and has a founded understanding how buildings are procured and constructed.

Kati works with a number of clients including as Design Quality Consultant for a London based Learning Education Partnership. In this role supports the review and assessment of design quality, challenging design solutions and monitoring technical co-ordination on a number primary and special schools. This role requires facilitating good teamwork and working under programme pressure, delivering educational projects of the highest quality.

Katy has been with the-learning-crowd since its inception and has worked on a number of education projects with some of the team.
Katy has a wide range of experience including as a very successfuil Headteacher of a challenging comprehensive school. Her leadership expertise led her to being asked to mentor school leaders overseas as well as senior staff in the UK. She is particularly effective at analysing data and creating strategies for ongoing school improvement. Oftsed decribed Katy as "visionary and effective"
Working with a major UK contractor, Local Education Partmerships, ICT companies and others, Katy has supported a number of new school developments during the design process on a variety of frameworks.
So as not to fall 'out of the loop' Katy went back to school in a senior leadership role for several years before returning to a freelance life style.
