Dawn Larkin, Senior Associate

Dawn Larkin, Senior Associate of the-learning-crowd team  is a professional Early Years consultant with over twenty years’ experience in education and children’s services.

After qualifying as a teacher QTS Dawn spent eleven years teaching Early Years and Key Stage One children in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire schools. She then moved on to an advisory position as a Children’s Centre Teacher in Nottingham City, overseeing the quality of educational provision in four children’s centres.

Dawn has also been an Early Years Inspector alongside this role for the past five years completing over 160 inspections. In her current consultancy role, she has supporting a wide range of Early Years settings to improve and prepare for inspection both in the UK and internationally.

Dawn has a successful track record of supporting both schools and nurseries to achieve ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Excellent’ Ofsted and International School Inspection (ISI) outcomes.

Dawn is experienced in working with multi-lingual settings that successfully deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. She coaches, mentors and trains teams to be confident to achieve the best outcomes for all children.
