the-learning-crowd, with Senior Associate; Sharon Wright are pleased to have been the educationalists working with BAM on the successful Southam College bid.

This is one of several successful bids recently that t-l-c have been involved with.

This project is a 'pathfinder' project  for several reasons. It will achieve net zero carbon emissions (see note for definition) and low energy use, but in addition, uses passive design, biophilic design, climate resilience, and health and wellbeing elements.

Not only is it the contractor, but its design team is lead architect, and it has conducted extensive energy and climate modelling, interior design, and is providing the school with a strategy for achieving a net zero carbon in operation position for the rest of the estate’s life.
